This is the formal public comment hearing before the Board of Supervisors votes. Your comment goes on the official record. The Board — not the Planning Commission — makes the final call on conditional-use permits and special exceptions.

• When. Tuesday, June 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM. Doors open by 5:30 PM.
• Where. Board Room, Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street SE, Leesburg, VA 20175.
• Written comment deadline. 5:00 PM on Monday, June 9. Email to bos@loudoun.gov with the application number in the subject line. Written comments enter the official record even if you do not attend.

Typical June public-hearing items in the Sycolin Road and Route 7 corridors include conditional-use permits for data-center campuses requiring grid-load interconnection agreements with Dominion Energy Virginia.

At the podium

• 3 minutes per speaker. Yellow light at 30 seconds remaining, red at zero.
• Cite the application number. "I'm speaking to LDCSP-####-####" signals you've read the packet.
• Ground arguments in the Loudoun County Zoning Ordinance and the Comprehensive Plan — those are the legal standards the Board must apply.
• If the item is a conditional-use permit, the Board has discretion; conditions on noise, lighting, setbacks, and grid-impact mitigation are on the table and worth naming specifically.

Useful background

• The Board approved the Loudoun Data Center Policy Framework in 2023, creating an overlay district with cumulative-impact review. Reference this framework if your comments address cumulative grid load or viewshed impacts.
